The sun slowly rises, casting a warm glow over the mountains as you lazily get out of bed. It is a perfect day for relaxation. Picking up a book, you head to the river. The sound of the flowing water and chirping birds is a soothing background to your reading. As the day goes on, you enjoy a picnic by the water's edge. The peaceful surroundings and serene atmosphere make for a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You come home in the evening to a hot meal.
At night, you lie down beneath countless stars as the night sky comes alive.

PANGMO NUNNERY
CONVERSATIONS WITH THE NUNS
A fifteen-minute walk from our home is the Pangmo nunnery which is home to around 60 nuns from all around Spiti. You can spend a day with them for enriching conversations about the history and philosophy of our land. Highly recommended!
STARGAZING
SEE THE MILKY WAY
Find a cozy spot on our terrace or if you are adventurous, head up the ridge for an unforgettable night sky experience. (weather permitting) We have a clear view of the Milky Way from our terrace and you can spend the night at our sit-out (or lie-down) area here to marvel at all the wonders of the night sky theatre.
ROCK GARDEN & VILLAGE WALK
CHAI WITH THE LOCALS
Across the ridge lies a Martian landscape for you to discover. Full of huge boulders and rocks, you can see upto Kaza from here! It is a great spot for a sundowner with open views on both sides. On your way back, take a walk through the village for some chai and conversations with the locals.
PICNIC AT THE SPITI RIVERSIDE
FOR A LAZY DAY
On request, we arrange a beautiful picnic at the riverside. We take you down an adventurous road to an old hanging footbridge where you can spend hours listening to the sound of the river. A perfect way to spend some quiet time in the mountains.

Our home is well-connected to all major Spiti circuits: Kaza-Key Monastery-Chicham Bridge; Komic-Hikkim-Langza; Chandrataal day picnic and back. We do provide personal guided tours on request.

Spiti is home to a large variety of birds. Alpine Choughs, Citrine Wagtail, the Great Rosefinch are all easily found if you have a keen eye for birdwatching. We also provide guided tours for enthusiasts.
